This was taken only about 2 hours after Day 22, but it was a new day since Briar was born at 10:33 and was in NICU until almost 1am. Here's Dan arriving back from NICU with Briar, who decided to breathe correctly... thankfully!

I had Ember try on all her summer clothes today that I bought on sale for this coming summer. My suspicions were confirmed. They all fit right now! Most of them, if she grows half an inch will be too small. Oops! Lesson learned. I won't buy ahead next year. I did get a few really cute pics out of it though.

Dan is back from New Orleans. Ember is quite happy with her new mask. That and she thinks it goes well with a cowboy hat!

Look what came in the mail yesterday! Okay, seriously, I now understand the price of Pottery Barn Kids tables and chairs. This is extremely well made. It sturdier than our dining room table and maybe higher quality than the tables and chairs in my classroom. It's big enough for Ember to use for years and adults can easily sit in the chairs. Rounded edges too!

When Ember gets nervous, overstimulated, or scared she likes to "pinch" furry things, her favorite of which is the back of my head, but I couldn't get a picture of that!

This is Sasha. When Ember was 14 months old, I pulled Sasha out of the engine of a neighbor's car. She was a tiny little thing. She quickly became Ember's cat. :)

I'm RuthAnn and I have one wonderful daughter, one on the way in less than a month, 2 cats, a snake, 2.5 acres with a little wildlife, an obsessions with cute children's clothes, My Little Ponies and warrior cat books. Oh and a car/computer obsessed husband.
